Bought this beauty at the lfs the other day. I think it's a hybrid. What do you guys think?

it is a Haddoni all the way. The tentacles are not long at all. The red haddoni is a stressed haddoni, not normal.

The third picture, are you talking about the red haddoni or the carpet first in the picture?

The middle picture with the beige/ green/ brown anemone looks like a gig

There are three carpets. 1st the one in question. The second a Gig and the third is the Haddoni

To clarify: There are only 2 carpets. The first photo is the carpet in question at the store, the second is the same carpet at night and the third is the same carpet today in the morning. Forget the red it's in a separate qt and is definitely haddoni. The other looks like a hybrid because it's tentacles get really long at night but during the day they retract like a haddoni.

My haddoni extend his tentacles as well during the night.
I assume its to increase the chance of capturing pray.

This is a haddoni. Brown/tan column that is wide and lacks verrucae. Column also appears to be buried in the sand. Tentacle length not all that abnormal for Haddoni.

I think it is a Haddoni too. Gigantea or partial Gigantea should have more characteristic of Gigantea. Haddoni can have longer tentacles like the middle pictures.
The hybrid that I have have pastel blue foot and light verrucae. Tentacles are longer and stay in the sand.
You are going to have to continue to observer him over time and decide after a few months. The middle picture have a look of a "not quite healthy Gigantea". It does not mean that he is sick, but stressed Gigantea often look like that.
