I have had my Haddoni for 3 weeks now. After a couple of days it found a spot and settled in the sand and under a rock. It stayed put there until today I came home and found it climbed up on a nearby rock. I know this usually means they want more light (my lighting is in my signature) but wouldn't it had moved before now if that was the case? Also what's confusing is that I just bought 2 new bulbs (replaced 1 ABS and 1 Blue+) and replaced them 2 days ago because they were getting old. Are 2 of 4 new T5s too much? I did not adjust my light cycle when I replaced the bulbs.
My clowns left the nem alone for about the first week until the female dove in. I have never seen her beat on it too bad but she did dig the sand out from under where part of the disc laid all the way to the glass. Could the clown/digging be bothering it?
The other odd thing that I saw tonight was when I turned my pumps off tonight to feed the fish, the anemone appeared to have spawned as I was feeding. This really worries me because I have read this can be a survival mechanism.
Carpet has been eating fresh shrimp well too so I don't think its hungry.
Mouth has been tight and the Haddoni is far from bleached.
Water test show no nitrates or phosphates. Calcium is 420 to 430.
Pretty bummed if it's starting to go downhill. Really thought I had things covered and a healthy carpet
