I have a Tealish Haddons carpet anemone that ive had for about a year now. I bought him from a fellow reefer on here. When i got him he was about 6" across. Now he is about 8-9" When fully opened.
He tryed to move about a month ago and got trapped in a powerhead and got a little of his body chopped off! Since then he has settled again(the next day) and is almost fully circled again!
He has a porcelain crab that has been with him since about december of last year, and i would like them to stay together. The crab does not leave his area,he goes under it and all over it no problem!!
They are really neat to watch together and are both healthy! I would like $100 for the pair, or trade for two colorful mini maxis.

Here is a pic of when i got him (still in the previous owners tank)

any questions let me know. It readily/happily accepts chunks of food(shrimp and things from rods food)
Reason im getting rid of him, is because i believe the reason he has moved (or at least what ive read) is because i have a long tentitcal anemone as well as condy anemone in my tank and ive read that they dont settle well in a tank with each other. I dont want him to detach again and end up dead or killing something else in my tank!!
Has not ate any fish in my tank, i have three tangs, two wrasse's(six line and lepord) manderine fish, pink spotted goby with pistol shrimp, two clowns, a foxface and a coral beauty! I am going to be getting some mini maxis instead.
thanks

Eastamherstbias--it was nice meeting and trading with you! I hope that the carpet is happy in your tank!!! And that you are happy with your new addition, as i certainly am!! Maybe in the future ill have to contact you before i buy any mini maxis and see what colors you already have and buy a different one to split then trade half with you! I would like to get a lot if variations, and that sounds like the cheapest/best way to do it!!!!

no, you can have them under t5's I had this one in my 120 long tank, 25.5" deep under a 4 bulb tek light fixture---4x86 watts. He was looking good and colored up real nice!! Just with my lta he was never really settled in.

yeah :-) It is neat to see that, with the crab hanging on!!! Your not leaving me :-) lol

I went and bought two sexy shrimp to host the mini maxis and introduced them to it two days after we traded. They go all around and on top of the mini maxis dancing away. Its cool to watch too!!! I think i am going to get 3 to 5 more in the future, Have like a mini colony of sexy shrimp living on the that rock with the mini maxis :-) Like and in tank ant-hill!!!!!
