We guessed it was about 16" based on the size of the foot and the disc when it got to the lfs. I guess I won't know how big it actually is until it fully acclimates to my tank and really opens up. Enen now all folded up it's a good 8"
The mouth did open when we took it out of the holding tank at the store but, it closed right up again. It's also a much nicer blue under my lights than the store's.
Here is the first picture of my green one. Had been in the tank for all of 5 minutes in this picture, so its mouth is protruding a bit, but I am not concerned.
It is a deeper green in person, but I don't have a manual white balance on my camera.
