Hair thin clear worms

I have these thin whispy worm things that are about 1" long. Mostly they're in the sand. Some built tiny sand tubes to hide in. It seems each one has two tenticals. More and more I've noticed them coming out of the rocks so it seems they're flourishing.
What are they?
Are they good/bad?
What can I do to get rid of them or decrease their number?

Thanks.

I think they are called spaghetti worms. They are good for your tank and as said, are a sign of a healthy tank and sand bed. They eat waste and uneaten food. No need to get rid of them, ppl pay money for worms like that. I actually feed my tank light so occasionally hand feed them by dropping tiny bits of food by them before lights out. Very cool little worms to watch.

Enjoy and grats :smokin:

sounds like Chaetopterid or Spionid worms. you should be able to google up some images of them. they are harmless filter feeders.
