I was torn going back and forth whether to get a mated pair or get a trio. In the end, I opted to get a trio. When they arrived, there was actually 4 in the bag!!! yippeee!!!! :beer:
It's only been about 2 weeks, but so far so good. It is a big tank with lots of rockwork. All fish that have been introduced so far are all passive, so it hasn't been an issue. And because there were some of the first ones in the tank, they have been able to get established in their own sleeping quarters without having to worry about eachother taking their spots. Like I said... so far, so good. But it's early.
Having said that, I have noted that 3 of them stick together. The smallest one (the fourth one) is usually off by himself, and not hanging with the group. I have seen no aggressive behavior at all from any of them, but seems that the smallest one might not be part of the school at this point.
keeping my fingers crossed. I love them. They bring such great color and activity to the tank. Really a great fish!
