Hi
I have had 2 well established Wetmorella nigropinnata, in my system for over a year. They were fat, and were doing really well. I also have a Halichoeres chrysus.
I noticed that i had a small infection of aefw, so i desided to get another wrass just to keep it contaiable, so i got a Halichoeres chloropterus.
The Halichoeres chloropterus sometimes chases the Halichoeres chrysus, around, but nothing to serius that i have seen. Both fish seems fine and healty and both eat.
The other day the first of the Wetmorella was found dead, i thought at first it could be the Halichoeres chloropterus, but then again i had never seen it do anything to either of the Wetmorella. And i even saw them swim around together all day with out any isues, right next to each other, hardly reacting to each other.
Then a few more days went on, and the other Wetmorella was found dead, i have started to give my Halichoeres chloropterus the blame, and its a shame caus the wetmorella was just such a nice fish.
Any way is possible Halichoeres chloropterus is the sinner? any one has any experience in this? the system is 288L (77g)
if he is the sinner he is going out, one way or the other, caus i want 2 or more wetmorella again...
