I was in So Cal for a family function last week. I went to Hello Lights and Hamilton to pick up dry goods while in town.
I was very impressed by the Belize Sun units that were on display at Hamilton.
They had 3 units hanging in their show room - two four footers and one two footer. I was able to take a good look at them. The reflectors are VERY nice - high quality - for both the halides and T5. The unit itself looks very sturdy and sleak looking overall - nicely designed. Cool light visors in addition.
Ethan took me to their warehouse and showed me how they were built. Its cool to see light systems actually being built in the states so that was impressive.
I was thinking of getting one to replace my system now - 2MH & 2-96W PC. If I do I will give you more insight on it.
I actually may first try the Cayman Sun 250 HQI reflector. That was really nice too. They lit one for me and I can say first hand how impressive it made their store tank look. Very bright reflector.
A LFS close to my house was setting one up for a customer. The store owner and the customer were impressed by it. They told me it was a Belize Sun 5ft 2-400w with T5's. The store owner sayed he was going to carry this line. If my wife wouldn't kill me I would buy one too.
