hey all! Iv been in saltwater for about a year and a half now. i just bought myself a hammer coral a week ago. after 2 hours i introduced it in the tank it open up really big, but the next couple days my ocellaris clown started living in it than just stayed there swimming in and out. it still opens up but not as big as b4 the clowns moved in. so i was wondering what everyone's opinion on if it is alright or will it just die slow? if it looks healthy? thanks.

here are the pic of b4 and after clown moved in. o ya parameter are all good.

The hammer just needs some time to get used to hosting the clowns but it will get bigger and looks good to me.

Most liklyit will die slowly .not opening fully is the first sighnof the erratation caused by the clowns.pluses hammers are now were near as tough as a nemesis.not to say it wont work but I wouldlget them anemone or remove them or the coral.this is why people hate cclowns in Pps tanks.find a healthy cheap btw or Alta and they will Dorothy that

I would say as long as it stays in the same condition (polyp extension) that its showing in the pics with the clowns hosting you should be fine. If the polyps really start to look deflated for extended periods then I would start to consider other options for the clowns.

thank you all. it still look the same as the pic. it doesn't look unhappy to me so i hope everything works out fine.. so i got 2 more ho t5s, 4 of them in total. i just scraped my glass last Friday and now i got lots of green algae on my glass could it be from the lights? thanks
