I've had a branching hammer in my nano tank that's been doing great in there for about a month now - it came from my main tank. A few days ago, all the tentacles shriveled up and receded, and now there's this white/brown stringy stuff coming out/covering it. Is it just expelling zooxanthalle, or is it dying? Is it normal for it to stay in this shriveled up form for a few days or more?
