Hammer in a Nano? Mostly SPS tank

I have a mostly SPS and Softy tank with one plate coral and an Echino that make up the LPS portion.

I really want to add a Hammer coral but I hear they are pretty agressive and could sting neighbooring coral and even fish/inverts? I would just like to hear what you guys think, and what are your experiences. The furthest I could place it from anything else is about 4-5 inches. What do you guys think? Is this possible or should I stay away?

well in my 3g picotope, i've got a few shrooms, few dif. zoas, a digitata (sps) a monti cap (also sps) a kenya tree, and a tiny piece of hammer coral. I have seen no problems whatsoever from them, but that might be because i also run carbon on this tank.

I love my hammer in my 30g i have alot of softies some sps lps and tons of zoos, no problems at all its a great coral branching can get more out of hand i guess as far as mass and taking up more room and stinging things. But mine is great where i have it and my clown even sometimes takes to it.

I think your fine with a hammer but with only 4-5 inches of space once it gets growing fragging it would be a good idea to keep it under control
