I know it's not the natural host for True Perculas but had anyone had any luck getting the handdoni carpet to host them? It's been a few weeks and my Picasso clowns show no interest. Thanks

Hi there....I have two Haddoni carpet nems...one is almost a foot wide...and the other is about 1/4 that....I also have a rose bt nem thst split three times but they stayed close to each other. My blood orange clown won't go near eaither one of my carpet nems...it took him 6 months to host the bt nem....but I had all the nems first...and didn't get the clown because I wanted him to host my nem.....I didn't care either way. I have never seen percs hosting a carpet nem.. I have seen clarkii clowns in carpet nems before...but one thing is for sure...you can't force a clown into a nem...they either will or won't.....
Thanks and yea I would never force them and also didn't get them just for the nem to host. Perculas do host carpets though, the gigantea (spelling?) is one of there natural host, I'm just wondering if anyone had success with a handdoni.
I had two pairs in Haddoni anemones. However, after noticing a juvenile Picasso get badly stung by one my preference has been (a) gigantea (b) Magnifica (c) Crispa and (d) Malu.
Here's the juvi picasso I was referring to. He wanted to live in the Haddon but couldn't handle the sting. The adult Onyx did ok in it though.

Same as everybody else here. I have had my Haddoni host A. percula often, but not always. If I have a natural host of them in the tank, they will go to the natural host, otherwise Haddoni.
Thanks, yea I just watched a YouTube video of a guy trying to force the clown to host it and the clownfish was devoured, I felt horrible for the little guy. I'm in no rush
