Hanna 774 vs. Salifert PO4 tester

Hi RC.

I've just bought a Hanna 774 tester.
When I do the test with the Hanna I get a (high) result - 0.21
When I do a Salifert test it says around 0.02.

Why are there so much in difference?

Personally I find the Salifert very difficult to read @ low numbers.
I went with a Milwaukee digital unit for that very reason.

Did you get the Hanna Ultra low HI774 or the regular tester HI713. The ulta low is more accurate for our use.

I got the new 774. It's also ultra low and you get the result on the tester instead of having to calculate it afterwards

Yes the 774 was the ultra low one I meant.

I prefer the Milwaukee because of the size of the opening of the vials compared to the Hanna.

Not like the old model but yes very similar.
