I'm happy to finally say that my RBTA is still healthy and eating...AND...that my two clowns are finally hosting in it. They are a female and a male Occilarius (sp?). I've had them for 6+ years, but this is the first time I've had a Nem. And finally after many weeks of not caring if they do or don't, the female finally started to clown around in the tenticales...and under the nem. And just yesterday the male was finally allowed in. Interestingly too...my bangaii cardinals mated last night...and the male is holding the eggs. I removed him to a 6 gallon nano till he either drops them or they hatch. This is the cardinals 5th or 6th spawning, but none have ever had babies, after a couple of days the eggs are gone. So I'm hoping that being alone will help him to keep the eggs better.
But I'm straying off topic...
My question is about the clowns. The female "harrased" the male for a solid week before letting him in the nem. He is "acting" just fine, but I can tell that the side that she continually attacked is missing scales. So, uh...is that normal...? Is this a courtship thing or were they just fighting?
Either way I'm glad that they are both enjoying it...and the nem is not showing any signs of "stress" (yet) from them hosting.
