hard water

hello my name is jeremy and i am new to saltwater. this is my 6 week and i have been doing really good with all of this. one prob is the tank that i got off this guy has hard water. i trided a razer no luck at all so i was wondering if any one has heard about Spot-X is it to be aquarium safe but i dont know. please help me thanks a lot!.

Use vinager, full strength, let soak for an hour or so and the mineral stains should just wash away with a little elbow grease.

i take it i should empty tanj below the hard water marks or all the water?

empty all of the water, the viniger will wreak havoc on your ph.

I try not to put any chemicals into my running tank
I would probally put the contents of my tank into a stock tank and take the the time to clean the glass.
You could use vinagar or Murick acid deluted to like 100 to 1 or something like that.
