I see alot of blue LPS. In fact, I don't think any of the colors listed are really that hard to find if you know where to look. Rare color combos would be a more interesting poll IMO. Just an idea. =)

It's gotta be yellow, when was the last time you saw an LPS that was really big bird yellow?

If I added all the color combos that list wouldhave been huge.I dont see alot of blue LPS.In fact, Ive only had one solid blue LPS in my tank in the years Ive been doing this hobby.

I would say that real RED might be one of the hardest but is not listed.

I was going to list red but after seeing that red lps thread I had second thoughts.

I am not sure that I have ever seen a solid bright yellow before.

I'm not sure I've seen any bright yellow corals. Sure, a muddier yellow, but not a bright one.

Blue seems reasonably uncommon.

As far as the survey, I might say a bright neon-orange and the color blue for LPS corals.

As I look in my own reef, red and green seem to be dominant colors. But as for limiting colors, I only have an extremely neon-orange plate coral which I love!

You said "blue being very limited" and I tend to agree too. However, it made me think of a picture I saw in one of my coral books....it was of a dark blue hammer (I'm not talking about a light, sort of greenish-blue...I'm talking about a midnight blue colored tentacles! Really unique, and very rare I imagine). Has anyone ever seen a dark blue hammer LPS coral? If so, can you post a picture. I'll try to see if I can find the picture for everyone.

PS- Beautiful Lobo eagleOne! :)

I think bright yellow is the hardest for LPS. Theres lots of red in Lobos, Scolys, and Open Brains.

Blue would be second I think.

Here you go on some yellow. This is Highlighter Yellow in my tank
