Hardware & firmware wish list

The problem is that these probes are very expensive (if they are high quality and suitable for permanent measurement). And we don't accept a compromise.
The hardware of ProfiLux is prepared for this kind of measurement (BTW: ProfiLux is prepared for nearly anything).
We are still in research...

I know i asked this prior, But better controll over tunze's.
Expanded i would like to be able to controll individual pumps, and be able to have them change modes at certain times.
Thanks Matthias.

Ohhh now i just have to download it.
I didnt see that listed.
Thanks Matthias!!

1: how about level sensors having control over individual sockets , as in low level in sump turn off heaters until level corrected.

2: restart delay on individual sockets after powercut

Matthias,

Depending on how expensive the probes for continuous and accurate measurement of Ca, Alk, NO3, Po4 really are, some of us may be willing to pay these kind of prices for these options. How about coming out with a limited amount of modules/probes that can perform these functions on the Profilux. These unique features would not be for the average user but at least the options would be there for some of us.

Many thanks...
LRS

LOL I seen that after i posted. ;)
I have not been updating till the tunze updates were set.
Thanks

LRS,
i try to calculate the appr. price and post it here. Let's see how the feedback will be.

1: we will have programmable logic soon, then you can create all the functions you need
2. comes

thanks matthias
that keeps me happy
heres some more idears
1: a blank remote module that connect to the pofilux via a com's cable to allow for connection of sensors and plugbars ,for those people that have equipment some distance away.(only one cable between).
2: programable buttons on the front of the viewII
3: current sensor to fit between the plug bar and the item to prov that the item is running (pump status)

Matthias,

Can you make it control Vortech Pumps?

What about being able to send a sms text to say the tank had a power cut. we get lots of power cuts so this would be useful.

What about a sensor etc, that can tell you how much power your tank is using.?

A profilux remote control for basic functions so I dont have to get up to mess with my profilux. Could actually be IR to the base unit

Dimmable MH ballasts?

Want want want, i dunno:p

With respect to dimmable HQi's the profiLux will already dim ANY dimmable ballast as long as it has a 1-10V control line.

So check your ballasts, you may already be sitting on one of your own wish lists.

I am going to be starting a thread in respect to dimmable stuff soon.

With regards to dimmable ballasts, here is a little known or rather over looked fact

ProfiLux WILL control ANY dimmable ballast as long as they have a 1-10 Volt interface, so if you can find a retailer that stocks them you are not far off your request from Santa
