Harlequin Shrimp eating a pesky starfish

Trying to train my harlequin shrimp to eat those pesky little starfish that multiply in reef tanks.

Heres a couple pics of the harlequin. He's very small, about 1"

Here he is eating a pesky little starfish. I had to skewer the starfish with a pin on the end of a skewer and put it in front of him. He pulled it off and began chowing on it. I hope that eventually he will hunt them on his own.

Boy, you've got patience!
I thought about harlequins for the same problem, ended up getting a couple of bumblebee shrimp, relatives of the harlequin, as I understand. I haven't seen them for days, but then I haven't seen any starfish in days, either. So I have hopes.

I can't stand those little star fish. I see them on my zoos and am pretty sure they're not just there to say hello. I didn't know the bumblebee shrimp eats star fish also. Might have to try a couple of them too. They're less pricey than harlequin too I see.
