So those little freaky stars were munching on my expensive zoas. I bought a shrimp that eats them...

i have a 200 gallon reef tank full of itty bitty stars. Will the shrimp eat the stars without me adding bigger stars like a chocholate chip?

Yup, depending on the amount you have considering it's a 200gal, it could take a couple days to couple weeks to take all of them out.

One shrimp will not consume enough before they multiply into more stars. It might take a few days but I would just start picking them out by hand. That is how I got rid of mine a few years back. good luck

these shrimp always do better in pairs and they are more easily seen if they have company as well. If it ever comes to a time when you dont have any more stars you can always buy some chocolate chip stars and put them in your sump or another tank and cut their legs off to feed them. I know its mean but thats what you have to do.
