has anyone added FURAN 2 to their entire tank?

I have zoos everywhere in my tank, I cant dip all of them. Many are growing on large rocks with SPS on them. Has anyone added furan 2 to their entire tank?

I probably can say, say good bye to your inverts ( Shrimp, crabs snails etc.. ) unless you can get them to a QT during this process... and after your done with the med... look at doing water changes and using carbon to get that stuff out of the tank... Pods would be erradicated...

Well its a treatment FOR fish, so they would be fine. I'd bet you could kiss your SPS goodbye as well.

I figured no one has tried because they didnt want to risk it, but you never know. Many antibiotics work at very specific targets of bacterial growth, most of which animal cells do not have, so I wouldn't be surprised if it doesnt affect other corals. However, I didn't want to be the one to use my tank as the guinea pig to find out, so I thought I would ask

I am not trusting them, I want to KNOW that someone has used it on their entire tank full of corals. I dipped a few rocks that I could tonight, but some others are growing on large rocks and I don't know what to do.

Are you trying to eradicate all of the zoas?

I think he has a zoa infection/bacteria he is trying to eradicate.
