Has anyone ever bred SI True Percs

I have a pair of Solmon Island Percs that has been spawing now for at least a year now. I have had good luck with the fry in the past, but feel that i might not be offering the right type of food for them. I have never used any of the ohtime (sp) from Reed mari. But plan on it in the future. I only offer Fresh hatched BBS till they are about 1 month old and then switch them to shaved frozen brine and a dried pellet food called Thrive i picked up from randy at the fragfest in Ill. , then finally off to mysis. I guess my main Question is what types of food do u offer and at what age do u offer it?
Another question is anyone else having the Problem with them taking for ever to fully stripe out? Some of mine are over 9months old and still dont have their complete stripes while some of their brothers do.

I think you feed the BBS way to long. They should be on dried food by 2-3 weeks IMO. I feed Otohime from 4-5 days until they are grown. Its normal for that last stripe to take a long time with Percs. I'd say yours are normal.

Rotifers should be the first food for 1 week.
