I have seen 1 triangular shaped aquarium (looked like a pyramid). It's located at a LFS in Monterey, CA called "Pets 'n Ponds". I'll take a picture of it next time I'm in the area.

I've built a few for customers, not difficult to build at all from acrylic. I think they're kinda cool though as stated above - the front corners may be difficult to keep clean. I think most are framed so the outer coupla inches are covered.

Haven't seen James around in quite some time. I dislike acrylic as a material for aquarium building, due to its behavior when in contact with water...
