Has anyone grown Phyto with success?

I tried this last year and had some success with it. I am going to do it again i think cuz i need some for my clams and want to do an experiment with my son and daughter. I know the basics and i am quite sure ill grow them just dont know what the density will be with my method. If anyone has ideas, could you please post them here. Thanks in advance!

Its a pretty smelly process too, do you ventilation in the area?

Prepare for spills!

Carpet no recommended in that area.

I did phyto (nanno) and Rots about 2 years ago and it was really fairly easy. Got my information and starter cultures from Florida Aqua Farms. I also got this book (PLANKTON CULTURE MANUAL 6TH EDITION ) HERE also. I am actually working to start again. Last time I really didn't set it up so it was easy to maintain. This time I plan on doing it right. Good luck, I'll be interested in hearing how you do and if you hve any good ideas.

BTW I didn't notice any bad smells coming from the cultures.
