I saw this today in my local fish store, do not remember the name, but it was expensive. that size ~89$. they also showed me in another tank how it looks when it's big and grown and it was very very nice..
I'll have to see if they grow larger. This is a frag I made off the colony I have and they are all small. Id say about the size of a pencil eraser. I noticed the center mouth are is a mint greent. But cant see well enough if they are PEs.
Although i'm not really into common names and such I can tell you that people eater type polyps are from the zoanthus gigantus genus (which yours are not) Still very nice though.
They aren't Kedd reds. I have a frag and Kedd Reds and the polyps on these are much smaller. I agree with Dalston and they are not the same type of Zoa as PEs. These are like mini zoas. I've fragged a piece off my colony to try to see which conditions it prefers and if the polyps will get larger. I've never seen anythis small before.
Do you know if they happen to be Vietnamese? Or where they came from in general? I was just discussing the other day how I've noticed a lot of nice tiny Zoanthids are collected from Vietnam.
