Has anyone tried micro/nano bubbles ??

If your trying to just raise PH at night then hook up your skimmer air intake to the outside or garage. My tank use to run 7.7 every night. (Several years). Over the last 9 months I took a hose and hooked it up to my skimmers air intake and put it in the garage. PH during day is around 8.45 and at night 8.3.

Interesting idea. I have really heavy flow that causes micro bubbles during the day and cranks my pH up to 8.6 most days. It then drops to 8.0 during the night. It'd be nice to stabilize it with something like this. I'd worry about blowing air into my calcium reactor. Either blow through co2 or cause swings in the reactors pH

I'm running a calcium reactor, and no issues yet. Mine feeds off of a manifold from the return pump.

I am a week into this, so far so good.
My PH has been more stable and skimmer collecting way more gunk now.
Haven't seen any change in corals. My tank is new though.

What was your observation SchnitzelReef so far?

I didn't want to post anything yet, but I am actually seeing some improvements in my acros. Skimmer production is about the same, but I've never had an issue with my skimmer not producing skimmate.

I have a frag of Jareds tri color prostrata. It's been in my tank for almost 3 years. Shortly after glueing it to my rocks, it encrusted, and hasn't grown since. Just this week I saw a baby branch start coming out of it. [emoji33]. I was shocked. This acro is super weird. Always has great polyp extension, and very colorful, but it just refuses to grow. I have another acro that is an extremely slow grower, and it too has started popping out new branches. Only thing I've changed in the last 2 weeks is the nano bubbles. We'll see how things look in a month or two.
