Has anyone tried Prohibit Soluble Drench for Ich?

I have heard quite a few people say this works, and long term as well.

The 52g, PROHIBIT SOLUBLE DRENCH DEWORMER

I am very interested in this approach, at least to try it... I have three fish in the tank, and a couple frags... I don't have a quarantine setup.. but the Kole has Ich. Bad.

I'm looking for people who have actually tried this, yes I know I need a QT setup so please do not tell me to just set up a QT. I am aware.

I don't think you'll find "quite a few" people who say it works. Almost all testimonials I have seen are purely anecdotal. But if you are really intent on trying levamisol, you should just contact the dude who promoted it in your other thread. He claims to have used it successfully for years.

Ich is a protozoan, and as such, a dewormer is unlikely to work. You'll also note that many people who have used it to treat nudis and flatworms have had tank crashes after its use. Most people here will advise against it - not only because it is very risky, but there is little evidence that it actually combats Ich. But if you're intent on treating it this way, I wish you good luck.

I agree. The gentleman who promoted Levamisole Hydrochloride is no longer with us.
