Have a femal McCoskers, thinking about adding a male??

I see LA has a male McCoskers, I was thinking about picking it up to give my female someone to hang around with.
The female has a 40b to herself with a lone Occelaris and firefish at the moment.
Plan is to add a Midas Blenny and Assessor at the same time.
Think it'd work?

The problem here is if your lone "female" isn't actually a female but rather submale, you have a problem brewing.

If you want more McCoskers, best if you add another female. Then they can decide who the male will be.

I don't especially want more, just saw the male and thought about adding him.

At what point would a sub-dom male flip and start displaying? When a female was added?

Surely at some point after a female was added; could be a few days to many months. However, it can/might happen even without a female present.

I have had this supposed female for ~6 months with nary a change in appearance, that's why I was assuming on sex.
