I wonder is the White-Tail Dwarf Angel is reef safe?
What tank size should I put him in?
Also I have 30 gal tank with power compact light, if I add the V2 viper light(clip on Halide for nano cube 70w or 150w) should I be able to keep clams and Rose Anemone??
Thank you
I have a white tailed pygmy angel (Centropyge flavicauda) in my 30g reef. He's a model citizen, never touches the corals. He's a pushy little guy and a pig at feeding time, and spends loads of time eating detritus off the rockwork - he seems to LOVE snail and crab poop, and goes crazy when the corals expel waste! Not the flashiest fish around, but he makes up for his plain colouring with a fantastic personality
I wouldn't put a clam in the same tank as a Centropyge angel, they apparantly find clam mantles and brain corals very tasty and if they're going to nip anything, these would be first. I also wouldn't keep one of these fish in anything under 30g - they're small, but they need some room to swim or they become stressed.
