have you guys ever??

anyone made there own rock for there tank i have about 100 pounds of it .
anyone ever cured there own? how long did it take? what all do i need ? any help will work im trying a few new things i have never done and want to learn everything i can

I believe you will need a spare tank and skimmer to cure your own rock. You'll need to do frequent water changes and frequently empty the skimmer. Snakemanvet will have more specifics for you.

Most man made rock will raise the ph, and can take up to a month to fully cure.I would place in a tub with skimmer and heater and do 25% to 50% water changes weekly until ph levels out.
