Having Awesome Rock Helps!

pbetito and MrMikeB just picked up 500lbs of Live Rock from a 300 gallon tank breakdown, so I decided to go take a look to see if I could find something nice for my new setup.

I found some unbelievably awesome large pieces, shelves and pillars that look like they were ceramically sculpted. They were full of color and looked sweet. I didn't think twice about picking out 50lbs at $2.50/lb. I would've bought this rock even if it was $5/lb. Thanks a lot Paul and Mike, here's the pics like I promised you. Yeah, I know the rocks are covered with corals, but trust me if all you had in your tank was this rock, it would be one rock'n tank.

For anyone else wanting to get some, don't worry. I took some cherry pieces back, because I just couldn't fit them in with all the corals I had. Actually thought about taking out the corals and leaving the rock

Glad you like the rock Xia. It is hard too see in the pictures because SOMEONE has SOOOO many corals but your tank looks fantastic!! The rock is actually Hawaiian and all of it is big pieces which is nice as well. I will wait another day or two and then the rock goes to the LFS.

Xia, the rocks may look good, but I think your TANK makes the rocks look good. That is one AWESOME tank!!

wow those look familiar but i dont recall it having corals on it when u bought them either
