Having clam trouble

I have a 5" crocea. He has been in the tank for 3 months and at my LFS for 4months. He was always open and happy on the sandbed. 2 days ago he started closing up. I have a 210 with 3 400w MH 10ks. Everything is fine in the tank and the only change was I started feeding DT's . The day I fed DTs he closed. I know they like light so I moved him on some liverock, closer to the light and did a 30 gallon waterchange .

I diped him for 8 min in RO/DI to get rid of anything that might bother him. I didnt see any pyrmid snails either. I cant figure this out. Everything else is fine

Last water test

could he be getting ready to spawn?

when they spawn the just do it.

i would stop adding the DT's and leave the clam in one spot and see if it works it out on its own. if its not opening in a day or 2 let us know.
