having troubles keeping snails!

I am having problems keeping my astraea snails alive in my 75g tank. I bought 5 originally, 4 died slowly, so i got 5 more and drip accumulated them for 3hrs. One snail was suicidal, it would flip itself non stop, and one day i didnt get to it soon enough. Then my power went out, 3 weeks after i put the snails in,for about 3 1/2 hours at night, and all but 1 snail died, everything else in the tank was perfectly fine.

Now was it just bad luck with the power going out and they happened to die, or is there something else possibly going on.

Tank inhabitants are 2 false clowns, 3 hermits and 1 astraea snail.
as for hitchhikers i got, i got some bristleworms, 1 nassarius (the kind of snail the previous owner of the rock had), some mini brittle stars, and 2 stomatella snail/slug thingers

My tank readings are
Ph: 7.8
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 0
ammonia: 0

I know the most obvious cause for there deaths is the 3 hermits, but im just trying to see if there is any other possible causes since the nassarius snail is doing great and is very active, but the astraea snails never seemed to be very active.

Thanks for you help again!
