hawaiian flame wrasse is Cirrhilabrus jordani. a hawaiian endemic and the only fairy wrasse to be found on hawaii island itself.
Vanuatu flame wrasse is the common name for an undescribed species of fairy wrasse. it has no scientific name, and is now listed as Cirrhilabrus sp. 1
it's often called the "nahackyi" fairy wrasse. there a few variants of the nahackyi fairy wrasse. those coming from fiji, tonga and vanuatu. they all look slightly different but bear some similarities. and all are undescribed. i do not know though, if all are separate species.

The one in the picture above looks more like what the wholesalers called the Tonga Flame wrasse to me. The one you are thinking of from Vanuatu is what most people call a Hooded fairy wrasse. If you Bing it you will get several good pictures of it. Ive seen a few nice Males lately so you may luck out. For the past few years very few Males have came in.

yes some suppliers also lists vanuatuan flame wrasse as hooded wrasse. Cirrhilabrus bathyphilus.
but there is also a variation of the nahackyi's from vanuatu.
