Whatever you do, don't dip the coral. I lost a mini colony cause I dipped it. I have my new frag about 2/3 of the way up the tank in fairly high flow.

Ours is 21" down, or 3" from bottom Medium flow

This is where mine did best. Between two islands, moderate flow and about 21 inches down between two 400 watt Radiums. Too much flow and there was no polyp extension. Too much light and it paled.

Mine likes mid to high light and mid flow. If I point a power head at it it will loose tissue. Mine gets PE.

Wow. Yeah just throw it in there and get a pest that kills all your SPS.

Yeah just throw it in a coral dip and risk losing a 60 dollar coral. I can inspect a coral for a few minutes and have a fairly good idea whether or not it has pests. Dip all the smooth skinned acros you want. I'll pass thanks.

I agree don't dip that coral it's not worth losing it, its an easy coral to see pests on so just inspect it closely

Alright guys no need to argue about dipping corals so i glued mine down in medium flow around halfway up my tank still no PE. When i turn my lights on from the tank being dark i see PE but after a few mins they all go back inside. ***?
