HD4 ... No Juice

Hey Fellas,

I am in a bind with an HD4 on my system. The outlet relays click audibly, but the eballasts or heater will not operate. I have checked with an outlet tester and the HD4 is receiving power, but the HD4 outlets are not hot. I have power cycled the head unit without success. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

I'm not aware of a circuit breaker on the HD4 unit. I have checked the wall outlet circuitry. I'm not able to see anything but the two RJ6 outlets and the dip switches on the HD4 unit. Am I missing the internal or on board circuit breaker?

Hi Alan,
The thing is, this system has been working flawlessly for months. Why all of a sudden would there be address conflicts? (Rhetorical question). Anyway, I'm pretty sure that is what is up, just don't know how to fix it. The unit had this same problem straight out of the box and I had to send it to Neptune for help. I'm looking for Curt P or some of his coworkers to throw me some advice. May have to call. Also, I was hoping for a quick fix from you all. I've certainly had two big boys take a look at my post. Kenagro knows his way around this hardware for sure and based on your post count, your no schlock either. Anyway, any idea on how to fix? I haven't changed any outlet names and haven't added any modules.

Mike

On the front of the EB4 isn't there a little-white button with a '15' on it?

Doh, DC4 (sorry, been thinking Apex too much lately).

I think it's an internal fuse but I'd need to take mine apart to get you specifics.

Have you opened the box to check?
