HDDC4 question....

I have an HDDC4. I have a 32watt pc, 110 watt t5, 110 watt t5, I just addeda 70 watt MH.

When the MH fired up, all the attached lights flickered and now one of the t-5's is out and won't fire up. I do not know if it is the outlet or the ballast at this point.

Shoul I not have a MH hooked up to the HDDC4?

I left the house for several hours, with 3 of the 4 lights lit...I will trouble shoot more tonight.

Have you checked your status to ensure the outlet is supposed to be on? If status says it is on, have you checked the outlet with a multimeter to see if you are getting any voltage? I recently had a relay go bad on one of my DC4HD's, Curt had me send it back to him, hopefully I will have a replacement in the next day or so.

I tried the ballast in a different socket, it is dead :-(

It is a cheap one, I have an ice cap I was going to swap it out with, I was not expecting to do it this weekend though

I will do more tests to make sure the HD is ok.

What is more troubling is when the MH fires up it makes everything else flicker, why is that?

Is the bulb in the MH just flickering? My MHs do quit a bit of flickering until they have warmed up.
