Head-Twitching on Fish

I have two fish that look like they have flukes. One Achilles tang has some white, soft, translucent stuff on its fin and a microscale white dot on its skin. Moorish idol also has a dot by its eye. They are much bigger than ich dots and are fairly hard to notice. I've had flukes before so they do look like flukes to me.

Another sign is that the moorish idol is head twitching badly. It shakes its head several times per minute. There is no discoloration, no loss of appetite. I've been using Prazipro for 6 days. However it doesn't look like the twitching got any better. The translucent dots did not go away either. I'm about to do some WC and start second dosing.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Maybe your dose wasn't strong enough. Ive never had any issues by slightly overdosing with prazi. This is just my experience so don't take it as the end all advice. Have you considered a FW dip"

I haven't done so because they are in DT and its hard to get them out.

Bet you get a quarantine tank now. Give them a break before you dose again but this time I would up the dose a bit. What are the specs, tank size and filtration type

They were TTed for 2 weeks and qted for 3 months. But apparently flukes did not show up until now (they slipped through). There aren't so many and the ones on them are hard to find which could have been the reason. I should have done Prazipro in the QT preventatively. The tank is 225 with socks and skimmer and right now the skimmer is not in use because I'm using Prazipro.

Yeah I always do prazi in QT just to be safe. My suggestion is dose the tank for 225 gallons plus whatever you think your sump holds. Like I said before I have had success with "overdosing" to an extent but you do what you feel is right for you.

Prazi shld work if dosed with the right therapeutic dosage... you might want to try hyposalinity too if there isnt any corals or inverts in your tank. Hypo works on ich as well as flukes... if thats not an option fw dip helps too...
