heads up to chicago resdence(saw peacock at lfs)

saw a peacock mantis at old orchard aquarium today. don't know how much they want but it's about 2.5 inches long and about 1 inch across. veryy pretty. just lettng you guys know if you are looking for one. they also have a lot of suff on sale for the wweekend only for superbowl. so go nd get what you guys want. i bought feather duster for 5 bucks.

I was just there yesterday too...maybe I saw you. I live about 10 minutes from there in the city. I bought a feather duster also...too weird..... Everything saltwater there is on sale this weekend so I got a ton of stuff.

They want $69.99 for that Peacock :eek1: and thats nuts.... I was going to buy that one 3 weeks ago but they wouldn't budge on price. Hes actually about 4 inches long..he just doesn't look that large in the enclosure and tube they have him in. I was trying to get it for around $45 but another LFS got some liverock in and I was able to purchase a larger N. Wenn Mantis for $9.95 -- Thats what I wanted to pay.... :thumbsup:
