Healing A Bleached Acro

I have an acro (unidentifed) that I purchased and I placed it on my sand bed with several others I bought. I set it their for light acclimation to my ATI fixture. Well within a couple days it started turning white on the inside and within the branches. The tips were still a nice bright blue and it had polyp extension.
So I moved to a darker area of the tank and that was a month ago. Now it has grown and the tips are still blue, it does have polyp extensionm and now the bleached areas that were a white color are now turning brown.
So what my next move to heal it fully and get it back into the light? Should I wait and let it turn more brown before placing it closer to stronger light??

Once the zoox have re-populated i would slowly inch it into brighter areas and observe for weeks at a time

Well how do you know when that happens? Will it turn fully brown??

The brown color is the zoox. It really is your call though. Best thing to do is make one adjustment and observe for 7-14 days.
