Heat In the Fishroom

Hey all, in my fish room right now I have two kessil lights along with two sunblaster single bulb tfho lights. I would like to add two more single bulb sun blasters to increase my lighting, but Im a little worried about heat from the t5 lights. The single bulb fixtures get hot but not CRAZY hot but that could change once theres 4 of them in there running. Theres also no fan on these things to cool them down like there would be on a light fixture that has several ballasts in an enclosure, but they are designed to be interconnected in cabinets and other small enclosures.

the fish room is small, its only 6'x4', it has a entry way in it with no closing door and theres an exhaust fan that intermittently comes on throughout the day.

I obviously would not like to start a fire in my house, but I tend to worry about things I dont necessarily need to, so I guess I'm looking to see from other folks who have fish rooms if this has been an issue for them, especially folks that run halides and tfho fixtures with several bulbs

what is the rooms ambient temp vs the temp of the heat around the lights..

If the temp in the room is lower then the temp of the lights you prob have nothing to worry about temp wise.. Humidity is something i would check .Putting a small fan in the room on the floor aimed kinda upward or even better a fan up high aimed down ward at a angle.. Remember heat rises so circulating the Cooler air lower in the room with the upper air will lower the over all temp . I for sure would have some passive vents between that room and the all way.. Maybe a Louvered door with the louvers for sure at the top area of the door.. Maybe even remove the door on that room if its very bad..

Not being there and not knowing any temp or humidity values , Cant really say rather there is a issue or not.... also lights and electronics have a ambient running temp on them to determine what range they are safe to operate in....

Hope this vague answer helps

I dont keep a door on the room, the entry way is in basement so I just keep an open entry way to help with air circulation. I was thinking the exhaust fan when it comes on would pull fresh air into the room while its pulling the warmer humid air out.

I do like the idea of the fan in the room, like maybe a small clip fan. During the summer it was around 78 degrees in the room, it should be a bit cooler now since we're in the winter months

Can we not talk about this, I stopped checking my room temperature when I installed a 10000 ton refrigerated air in the penthouse. Have my peeps send yours a sorry note in the mail :)
