I have set up a 2.5 gal. tank. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the best way to heat up this tank would be? The temp in the tank is about 73 degrees. Is there a heater that they sell that would work?

jegg and i were thinking about a reptile heating pad under neath the tank that came on at night on a timer. what do you think?

I've wondered about using one of them. Would the weight cause the pad to short circuit ? Or would there be hot spots that could overheat and crack the tank ?

There are some pics of my tank that I started. I have a HOB filter with a PVC overflow. Works very well. I was looking at the 25 watt heaters but I didnt know of that would be to much for such a small tank. The last pic is alittle dark

I like it ,but I think it is to long of that tank. I think I should just stick with the mini coralife!!!!

My 2.5 gal update. I have added a coralife 18 watt 50/50. And a peice of tonga branch. I still need to add a heater. I think Im going to go with a 25 watt heater. Then I can start adding some livestock.
