I've been eyeing this red carpet ever since it came in the store(Feb, 2010). It has been in the store's tank for over a year now. I went in today and decided to give it a home.
Here it is. Very healthy looking and doing well considering it has only been in my tank for a little over an hour. I dug a hole and buried its foot and it did the rest. Surprisingly, my clowns are not all over it. Maybe they're just too happy in their gigantea.

I love my gig. It more enjoyable to watch with all the tentacles in the turbulence wave. The haddoni can't stand the high flow. The color is awesome though.

Got some company for the haddoni.
I went out and bought a pair of Porcelain Anemone Crabs. When I put them in the tank near the anemone, they both took refuge under the anemone. After about half an hour or so, the smaller one tested the rim of the anemone and went on the edge of it.
I love the symbiotic relationship. Since my clowns are too busy with their gigantea, the haddoni is unoccupied. The crabs seem to be a perfect match for it.

Actually, when I was trying to post these pictures, RC was down. So I fed the tank and they both came out and try to grab the food. This is awesome!

I have never seen A S.Gigantea with tentacles that long Are you sure it was Gigantea? at first glance it looks like S. Mertensii but i am sure its gigantea very nice anemone

That's 100% Gig. When they are healthy their tentacles elongate like that.

Nice Haddoni nick! I have a larger mag added to my tank with my gig. Haven't posted pictures yet as I want it to color up a bit more before I post it
