Well we have another hurricane in the Caribbean, Beta is now a category 2, and expected to make landfall on the Yucatan peninsula........this is a new record for hurricanes in one year.
Plus there seems to be another one forming in the windward islands that could come this way, but the gulf temp has dropped drastically since last week from 80 to 67 degrees, so most likely it will not impact the gulf as the water is too cold for future strengthening........but with what we have had this year, who knows.....
