Hi everyone! I a very glad to say my first reef so far has been great, everything has grown very well, no algae problems, just a bit in the glass here and there, so far my only "concern" are my clownfish, since I brought them I noticed a little "bend" on their gills but after some time in aquaria I attributed it just to genetics since both have them, they have grown a lot since they got here and when I see their brothers in the fish store is even more noticeable, they are active and eat very well a little brine shrimp here and there and both protein and spirulina based dry food, they have been living near a powerhead in the back of the tank, (I am looking for a good hammer, torch or frogspawn to try and house them in one a little closer to the front of the tank), so even when I thought the gill thing is genetic I still want to do a little research on it just to make sure so I looked online and nothing like it but just to be sure I wanted to post a couple of pics here to see if anyone has seen this before. Altho they have grown a lot since they got here they are only 4cm still quite young. for what I was told they should be arround 4 to 5 months old now.
The "blemishes" i am talking about are the small prominences in the gills in one of them and the bent gill cover in the other one. or maybe those are normal things in small ocellaris?
