I don't think so. There is nothing here and the dune is over 150' high. It is very hard just to get to this site.
About 5 miles east on this beach is the remnants of 5 WW1 ships.

That was a joke. It looks like seabed protection the has been flipped upside down and the grippy parts are on top now.

Yesterday I went fishing on a party boat. My closest friend wanted to take his Grand Son Jackson and another friend also came. There was only 8 people on the boat which can hold 50 . It was a great day and between the 4 of us we caught almost 50 porgies which I will cook tonight for us.
Of course I had someone check on my wife all day.
We also caught a few sharks a blowfish and a weakfish but we threw all those back.
We can't eat them all so I will freeze 30 of them.
This is the Mate, Melinda cleaning our fish. My friend also won the pot for the largest porgy which was about 15"

After I got back from fishing I had to take my wife for an MRI of her face. Last night she was in terrible pain so I didn't go walking this morning.
There is nothing they can do for her so of course I couldn't sleep. She is still sleeping and I am afraid what today will bring. Depending of the results of the MRI we will see if she should go for a Gamma Knife treatment.
She had that years ago but even if it works, it takes a month or 6 weeks before it takes effect.
This is called the "Suicide" pain for a reason.
We went for a physical a couple of days ago and I am seemingly in perfect shape. I have been getting chest pains but it has nothing to do with my heart. Well, not physically anyway. It's a Hyania Hernia caused by stress. It won't kill me and is not dangerous. For me, it is caused by worry about my wife. It causes my stomach and intestines to cramp up pushing my stomach up. I am prone to that for some reason and was hospitalized a couple of times because they thought it was a heart attack, but I knew better.
My internist a few years ago told me it comes from love and seeing a loved one in such pain can cause it.
I'm not very happy today.

She is much better this morning and only gets the severe pain if she talks, eats or drinks so most of the time, she is relatively pain free. Except of course for all the problems MS brings including not being able to walk or do almost anything.
This morning as we were talking, she mentioned that our neighbor is severely sick and dying from brain cancer.
Even though my wife doesn't feel well she wanted to do something for his wife who is distraught and can't get out as he needs constant care in their home. My wife ordered them two meals from an Italian restaurant here.
She has been going through this for over a year and it is taking a horrible toll on her. They are very nice people and also our friends.
My wife is a very caring person and always thinks of others which is one reason I married her almost 51 years ago.

that fishing trip looks like a blast!! I'm kicking myself a bit for not making a bigger effort to get out and fish this year, first year I didn't organize a boys fishing trip since 2016 I believe. "next year"

For most of my life I didn't go on commercial fishing boats because I always had my own boat, so I went fishing and SCUBA diving whenever I wanted to. I sold my boat 2 years ago because my wife couldn't navigate on it to the cabin or get on or off the boat easily so after 50 years, it was time to get out of boating.
Now I fish from the shore or go on party boats.

On my morning beach walk, I walked pretty far. I came across this Teepee, but no one was home. The Indians must have been out buffalo hunting for skins to cover this thing with.
(I can call them Indians because I am not PC, and I know some Native Americans, and they like the name Indian better.)

this topic always cracks me up cause I grew up and still live outside of 3 different tribal lands and they all call themselves indians, lol.
