Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions. I am just moving back into the Pittsburgh area (Grove City) after about 5 years in the Detroit area. While in Detroit I picked up 'reefin', running a 160 and a 70 gal for a few years. When I moved I sold my tanks off. So I figured while I save up for a new large tank I will run a nano to tide me over.

I was hoping to get some input on shops in the Pittsburgh area. When I lived here before a reef aquarium was out of my price range so I never followed reef stores. I have read some posts about local stores but does anyone happen to know of any up near me? Also, I need to pick up a little Southdown for my nano. Anyone know where they sell some. I didn't see any at Home Depot.

Hey kebs, The closest I know of is Under The Sea in Cranberry.If you go to the PMASI website the address and phone no is there. Also from Cranberry you can get on the turnpike and go east one exit to Seahorse in Allison Park. There's a mom & pop store up by Freeport but all I remember about it was the hair algae.

I just stopped by Under the Sea and talked to Jason. He was low on fish at the time due to the storms killing most of his orders, but has a large selection now. I would defiantly recommend stopping by. Is supplies are reasonable priced for most of what you need.
