Hey guys,
My name is Daniel, I live in Roanoke and I have been in the saltwater hobby for about a year now. I just upgraded to a 120 gallon setup with corner overflows and I am loving it. I have a small microbubble problem, but I am hoping it is just the result of new plumbing because I can't seem to fix it.
I have a peaceful community fish tank and I have almost all types of corals and just got my first clam a few days ago.
I was wondering if there are ever any kind of "reefer get-togethers" in this area? I don't know a whole lot of fellow reefers in this area and would love to have a good network of people to trade frags with and give/receive help if needed.
It looks like years ago people would meet up at someone's house with a nice set up and mingle, I wasn't sure if this still goes on. I'd love to be able to see other people's tanks in person to get ideas and possibly purchase frags when available to expand my collection.
If anyone knows of anything like this, you can either respond to this thread or email me at dturner7 at gmail.com. (spread that out to prevent attacks from spammers).
Thanks, I hope to hear from you soon.
Daniel
