Finding Reef Central is the best first move you could have made. I just wish I had all this information available to me when I started out years ago.

Yep same here. I have been a member here on STRS from its inception and have received some very good advice over the years from some of the best reefers around the area. Always nice to see new blood around here. You may want to check out the Upstate Reef Society (URS) as well if you haven't already.

Begin by reading the permanent threads at the top of the "New to the Hobby" forum.

Anemones don't do well in new tanks. Give it six months or so before you acquire one.

Alrighty, gonna be a while before our second tank is set up anyway, but there's a lot to think about.

Cool chart, I'll have to keep that stashed away.
