i forget to take pictures!!! also my brother and i got a hold of a 70 gallon tank... its a bit rough for some reason the guy had a lot of salt/calcium creep on a freshwater setup.... but its really caked on and tough to remove... we are soaking with vinegar but we have to work in sections... so its slow.... but its almost there...and the stand that came with it is a bit rough, so we are gonna make a new one....

the goal is to transfer everything from our 45 to this new 70 and make the 45 a sea horse tank or something ...
 
awesome!! didnt think of that... we would just have to rinse extra well....

So... we rescaped everything in the tank due to some of the corals letting go and getting lost.... we ended up finding corals we had lost long ago and one that we lost recently... all in all we lost one new one... oh well... new setup looks nicer i think....

also our stupid Rico (Hippo Tang) decided to try the whirlwind and take a trip through a powerhead.... he got stuck on it.... poor little guy....

lucikily he was still alive, we set up a quickquarantine tank... and fed him and medicated him... hopefully he makes it through the night
 
ok news update.... rico the hippo tang didnt survive his encounter with the powerhead...whoops....

the tank looks awesome ran the tests everything is good just have a bit of ammonia i think 20ppm... everything else was 0.......

everything has had significant growth its actually noticable how much compared to when we first got the coral...

the 70 gallon tank is at Steffens, getting drilled, reglued and a nice sump for it.... so anxiously waiting for that to be done.... no rush though.....


and Pedro, i know you will be asking soon again, so yea, i finally got a camera.... so i will be posting pictures soon....maybe
 
hell yea!!! i just got my clean up crew that i got from reefs2 go... but damn ups.... the box clearly says live fish on it.... and they went and banged the box up..... the box also says this side up and i found it on my door step on the other side.... AND the dumbas driver litterallly slammed the box on the door step.... i hope they are ok... (havent actually opened the box) but i will now!
 
He ran over to his truck and since my door was locked i couldnt open it fast enough to stop him...

everything seems fine except one turbo snail and 2 of the peppermint shrimp... what sucks is it was the 2 biggest two... THAT I CAN TELL for now... still gotta float them and what not...
 
Pedro on sunday and monday they had a sweet deal.... at least i thought it was sweet...

20 blue leg, 5 red leg, 20 cerith, 10 xl cerith, 20 nassairus and 5 turbo...... for 39.99
and then i added 6 peppermint shrimps for 14.99....

i was gonna get 20 blue legs 20 nassairus and 10 turbo... something like that at live aquaria and it was gonna be 34... so i figured 5 bucks more got me a better deal....

with free shipping for it.. (i tried attaching fish but then it wouldnt be free anymore)

i liked the deal because it should be a decent crew for the new 75 gallon...
 
the turbo snails should come around just take some extra time acclimating them. as for the shrimp that sux to hear...
 
really? cool... altough the other 4 were sliming around... the shell actually looked empty haha... but i shall still drop him in the tank... just in case... thanks for the info....
