help again!

it got down to 7 dkh, and its usually 11.

i added close to what the directions were, but it was a postal scale, and only so accurate. certainly not just a random amount :)

after five days, its back up to 11, and ph was 8.25.

we determined the high calcium was because of the high number/volume of water changes--the salt tested at 500, and we were concentrating the water with each change...

i calibrated my hydrometer (?) and saw we were about .15 under. we'll be swapping ro/di for tank water at about 1/2 a gallon twice a day until salinity is under control.

the frogspawn looked better today, but definitely bleached. we're just leaving everything alone now--small water changes in QT, top offs, everybody is 77 degrees, everyone has lights, we even put some live rock in the QT tank finally.

now everyone sits and waits :)
